I like the content of the course set up by group 7. From this course, the student can learn about the development history of chopsticks. At the same time, students can also learn about some Chinese history, which will help them understand the historical significance of some Chinese dishes. In addition to the historical significance of chopsticks, they also introduced the historical significance of the development of chopsticks to modern times. This course extends to a lot of Chinese ancient to modern development history. In my opinion, a good course should be extended a lot of knowledge and make students feel full. Their curriculum activities are also gradual and linked, in the first activity, let the students try to use chopsticks, and then let the students cook with chopsticks so that the students can experience the practicability of chopsticks in all aspects.
During the activity of making Chinese foods, the course publicized the concepts of rejecting waste and saving food to students. Let students think and form a habit of how to make a delicious Chinese dish without wasting food materials. The course also introduces students to the unique historical meaning of “Yin and Yang” in a Chinese dish. Let students understand the collocation of Chinese recipes, not only the superficial cooking but also learn more about Chinese history. Including the inclusiveness of different learners, they are also considerate. I like the content of this course very much. It is interesting and rich, and it is very inclusive to students.
